Selected in Japan. Recognized on the world stage. NIKUJILLE Best Selection

Two consecutive years of recognition.

Last year, Arita Wagyu represented NIKUJILLE at the World Steak Challenge and received international recognition.

This year, we returned with three Japanese Wagyu brands from three different regions of Japan.

And once again, our selection made its mark.

🇯🇵 Arita Wagyu, Miyazaki, A4 Striploin

🇯🇵 Mogami Wagyu, Yamagata, A5 Striploin

🇯🇵 Kanade Wagyu, Hobo Farm, Kumamoto, A5 Striploin

More than 450 steaks from around the world were blind judged by over 60 international experts.

The result:

Two Gold Medals from three entries.

Across the last two editions of the World Steak Challenge, three different Wagyu brands selected by NIKUJILLE have now received international recognition.

This year, the three selections were represented at the World Steak Challenge 2026 in Amsterdam by our partner Ghorban Global, competing alongside producers from around the world.

And this is exactly what NIKUJILLE Best Selection is about.

We don’t simply want to offer “Japanese Wagyu.” Japan has thousands of Wagyu producers, from different regions, with different philosophies, breeding programs, feeding approaches and expressions of Wagyu.

Our job is to look deeper. To find producers we believe are doing something exceptional. To understand what makes their Wagyu different. And to connect those producers with the right partners and customers around the world.

Three producers. Three regions. Three different Wagyu stories, recognized on one of the world’s biggest stages for steak.

We’re proud of the producers we work with, proud of partners who bring these selections to the international market, and even more motivated to keep searching for the next exceptional Wagyu from Japan.
